  Sitespector allows user to monitor websites for updates and changes automatically. It can work in background mode, notifying user of updates in manner that the user prefers. The user can set up exact time at which the checking of the web page is to be performed. Moreover, the user can set exceptions for the schedule in order to certain websites would not be checked in inappropriate time and the traffic would therefore be used with a maximum effect. All the new information of the webpage is presented in a special report which is divided into special issues. Each issue contains the new information found on the web page during the process of checking. There is a special option (treating images with outer hyperlinks in a different way) allows Sitespector ignore banners, counters and other useless stuff. The program can monitor changes on web pages which contain different scripts that modify the contents of the web page. The user can use an option that enables to forbid the execution of the scripts on such web pages.
