The VoltoGSC Google Search Component is an ActiveX DLL that provides a lightweight interface to the Google Web APIs service. The component enables applications to query more than 2 billion web documents directly using one of the web`s most advanced search engines. The component handles all communications with the Google Web APIs server as well as the processing of the underlying SOAP messages. Searches are handled with a simple method call - so there`s no need to work with SOAP or XML. Furthermore, unlike many other web service clients, the VoltoGSC component has no dependencies on external components (such as the Microsoft XML parser or SOAP toolkit), so application deployment is easy as there is just one DLL to distribute.
